Comprises two long poems, with prose passages, "The Sea and the Mirror" and the title-poem.From the library of the poet Dannie Abse with his ownership signature on the front free endpaper. Under the signature he has added ''from Leo'', this being his elder brother. Abse has made a few pencilled marks here and there in the margins. Next to one line he has written ''vide T.S. Eliot''. On the rear free endpaper is the blindstamp of a Hereford bookshop.There is a piece torn from the margin of page 103, not affecting the text. Covers marked and dusty. Good only. No dustwrapper.
