Green coloured cloth covered boards with gilt coloured embossed publisher's logo to the front panel and gilt coloured titles to the back strip. Colour photographic dustwrapper with white coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. The author presents the findings of the Arabah expedition, of 1959, unfolding story of the search copper in the Timna area until Mameluke times. His book is a major contribution to Biblical archaeology -- invaluable for the many long-standing problems than it solves and fascinating to the new ones it raises. -- Front fold over blurb. Will rubbing of the top book corners and lower book edges. A little fading to the top back strip edge. Light age toning of the text block edges and there is a mark to the front text edge. Creasing of the dustwrapper edges and there is a small tear to the top edge of the front panel. Rubbing of the panels with sunning to the back strip and particularly noticeable to the rear panel.
