About This Item

John Murray, 2001. 1st UK Edition. Hardcover. F/F. 1st English Language Edition. 23 x 30.5cm paper covered pictorial boards, map endpapers 205pp, illustrated throughout with photographs and the works of Hergé. With original dust jacket echoing the design on the boards beneath and with a price of £19.99. A very good plus book noting just some bruising to the corners of the upper board in a very good plus jacket with a hint of rubbing to the spine tips and corners and a little crease in the top front corner. The binding is firm and square and the book appears unread. The dust jacket is now protected in a removable clear cover (not shown) and presents well although there is a 3cm closed tear on the top of the fore edge of the front panel that has been repaired with tape on the verso. The book provides an interesting look at Hergé's work and the influences on him. Rainford & Parris Books welcomes enquiries, so please do not hesitate to ask if you require further images or have any questions. All books are packaged with great care.
