In the original publisher's pictorial dustjacket, which is price-clipped. There is very light rubbing to the bottom of the board's spine. There are NO inscriptions or other marks. 320 pp. Illustrated with b/w plates and b/w diagramatic endpapers of the ship. Five Appendices; Index. Overall, apart from the 'faults', as detailed above, this is a Tight and Secure, 'Very Good' copy. "In her brief life the Titanic, at the time of her launch the world's largest man-made moving object, inspired huge excitement and speculation. Today, 100 years since she sank with the loss of more than 1,500 lives, public interest continues undimmed. No-one, whatever the reasons for their interest in the Titanic, will be able to put this outstanding and beautifully written book down for long."
