cat40a. Toronto: Musson, 1943. First Canadian edition. Brown cloth lettered in green. Some slight bubbling of cloth, light edge wear, a clean very good copy in a slightly worn dust jacket, some small chips from corners and top of spine, a few creases, but decent looking. The American edition appeared from Crime Club in 1941.
