One of 50 deluxe copies bound in leather; from a total edition of 350 signed and numbered copies. 'Lord John Press gets its funny name from the founder's [Yellin's] love of these authors: John Barth, John Cheever, John Fowles, John Gardner, John Hawkes, and John Updike.' - The Clarion Ledger First edition (first printing). Very light scuffing to front else a fine copy; no dust jacket. Inscribed by the author on the limitation page, 'For Herb Yellin, / with thanks for his / persistence, good taste, / high standards, / and (champagne?), / John Barth.' An unnumbered publisher's copy presented to Herb Yellin.
