The T' Oegyehak Study Institute Book. VG. Hardcover. 8vo. 1977 - 1978, dark blue cloth with gilt stamped spines, very clean, bright copies, in plain brown slipcases with light general wear. Yi Hwang (1501 - 1570) was a Korean Confucian philosopher known better by his pen name T'oegye. These are bound volumes of the journal issued quarterly by the T'oegyehak Study Institute, and include presentations from an international conference on Neo - Confucianism and Yi Toegye attended by scholars from around the world. Text is variously in Korean and English, with one article also noted in French by Daniel Bouchez. Includes issues 13, 14, 15, and 16, from 1977, and 17, 18, 19, and 20, from 1978.
