Bosotn: Gray and Bowen, 1831. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 16mo - over 5¾ - 6¾" tall. G. Harvey, E. Gallaudet, et al.. This book is clean, tight, square and unmarked. It is rubbed at the edges. The paste downs have lifted giving the book extra end papers, but everything is still very tight. It has marbled end papers (should be pasted down?) and 320, bright, clear pages with gilt edges and only scattered foxing. The boards are covered with maroon leather with gilt titles and designs on the spine. It is illustrated with black & white engravings and contains "The Lost Boy" by Holmes, "Ronda" by Irving, "The Birth of Thunder A Dahcotah Legend" by Snelling among other works.
