Some discoloration to back cover, light edge wear, but a bright and attractive copy. De La Mare retells tales such as Snow White, Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstock, etc. Some charming plates by A.H. Watson.

Book VG with toning to spine and boards, rubbing and soil, binding tight although front inner hinge cracked, foxing to endpapers, text clean and unmarked but moderately toned throughout, handsome gilt to top edge of text block.
