Very good blue cloth hardcover (no dust jacket) with gilt letter and decoration shows soiling to covers including a couple of ring stains to front cover, rubbing at edges, mild fade to gilt letter at spine, some blue stain (cloth bleed) to bottom corner edges of last few pages, thin ink stamp at bottom of front end paper, and some other mild trace wear. 324 pages illustrated. Still an attractive copy of this printing of the classic novel edited by F.Sidgwick with frontispiece illustration of Hughes, preface by Lord Kilbracken, introduction and notes.
