The boards and spine show minor wear to the edges and extremites, mostly at the upper and lower edge of the spine. The gilt/lettering and illustrations are bright and legible, without significant loss. The pages are very mildly toned, having no markings or folds. There are several small bleached out spots on the spines lower half. Still a wonderful copy, attractive on the shelf, and with a nice "heft" in the hand. This title is not the last in the list opposite the table of contents, a later printing.
