The book has some light bumping and rubbing to the spine ends and corners of the book covers. The text pages are clean and bright. A previous owner's book card pocket was removed, taking with it a smallish spot of the rear inside cover (approximately two inches in diameter) . There are several small spots of the card pocket still on the rear endpaper as well. The List of books on rear cover of lists to itself (number 25). "The intercom in the astronomy wing of the Swifts' space outpost buzzed like an angry hornet.
