Hardcover, we believe this publication was issued without a jacket, excellent condition, tiny, mild bumps to the bottom corners and a short crease to the cloth at bottom spine are the only remarkable (and minor) flaws, this copy includes two brief handwritten letters, one is signed "Mrs. Tana" and is a plea to the recipients to help to sell this book in America, it is dated May 10, 1978, the second letter is signed "Tomoe Tana," it is actually a postcard informing the recipient of the book's pending publication, it is dated Aug. 9, 1978, the book's text is in English and Japanese, the book is undated but we assume 1978, From the Preface: "In 1957 when Miss Lucille M.
