Hamish Hamilton,, [1959]. 8vo., First Edition thus, with title in red and black, and decorative head-pieces in the text, light tape-marks on endpapers; green cloth, gilt back, red top, pale blue endpapers, a very good, bright, clean copy in unclipped dustwrapper, the latter mildly browned at backstrip and fold-ins. With personal bookplate on front paste-down, and striking dustwrapper artwork by Robin Jacques. First appearance of Magarshack's translation and the first new edition in English for over half a century. VERY SCARCE, ESPECIALLY IN THE DUSTWRAPPER.
