About This Item
London: Hamish Hamilton, (1991). First edition, first printing. This is a near fine copy. The dust wrapper is sharp, designed by John Harris. It has not been price clipped, displaying the original £13.99 net price (under the original vendor's sticker, located in Dublin). The boards are without wear and sharp. The top text block is mildly foxed, though the other two are immaculate. There is a previous owner's inscription to the front fly leaf, dated in the year of publication and dated to Dublin. The author's signature is flat signed to the full title page in blue ink, supposedly when visiting the Irish city in 1991. Overall, this is a near fine copy of a fine signed title.
A delicious account of life in Provence, France.
