A fair to good copy, the spine and covers are soiled, the front endpaper is lacking, there is a stain in the upper inside corners of pp. 499-434 about the size of a silver dollar and which gets lighter as it goes back into the book, all text is readable, there is a two-inch tear in the outer joint of the front of the spine down from the top, and the front hinge is slightly weak.
