Macmillan, 1910. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. American feminist Gertrude Atherton wrote this novel which follows Margaret Hill, a singer, into a dramatic love triangle. 7.75" x 5.25". Maroon cloth boards with gilt titles to front cover and spine. Signed by Atherton on full-title page. Vii, 466 pages, 4 pages ads. Corners of boards are bumped. Wear to edges and head/tail of spine. Tiny spot of discoloration to spine. Light wear to front cover. Scribbles on pages [viii] and 1 in what appears to be light brown crayon.
