England, 1925 136mm x 212mm tall (5.5" x 8.25" approx.). 122pp + sepia photo portrait frontispiece a blue-printed plate of a skeleton beating a drum, and with 45 illustrations and vignettes in line - 8 full-page, 1 folding and 36 in the text. A very good copy in [later?] black-printed, illustrated soft-green card covers. [The book leaves are clearly 1925 originals, and are pierced for a cord-fixed binding. It would seem that stock was retained unbound for later issue]. . First Edition.

Profusely illustrated with line-drawings, and a portrait photograph of the author. Sub-titled, 'Comprising magical sketches, a number of original tricks, forceful aticles, and many items of general interest to magicians. Harry Leat (1874-1949) was a magic dealer and publisher. Some creasing and short edge tear where covers overlap contents; else a very good plus copy of a SCARCE first edition.. First Edition. Paperback. Very Good Plus.

Initials to the title page otherwise a nice VG+ copy in the original sown binding. NB: the front cover is the original from 1925 and not the later re-bound pale green issue.
