Gift inscription with Lima, Peru and a 1946 date on the front endpaper of each title. Beige cloth is slightly soiled and the spines are a little sunned. Introduction by Nash Buckingham (in Tranquility only) and illustrations by Arthur D. Fuller in all three volumes. The copyright page in each title reads: "Of this book 5000 copies were printed in September 1945".

All 3 volumes have a bookplate from a prior owner on front endpaper and have the name and address of the prior owner stamped inside front covers. Tranquility Regained has a tape repair over a tear on table of contents page. Books are in good condition. Dust jackets are faded along spines, have some scuffing and have some small tears. DJs are in good condition. Slipcase is in good plus condition, with labels still intact and only some wear at the corners. 8vo, 540 pages, 2.1 lb.; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 540 pages .
