London: Longmans, Green, and Co, 1879. Sixth Edition. Brown Cloth. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" Large. N/a. xv. 392pp. 24pp (advertisements). Sixth Edition. Original publisher's cloth - gilt embossed to the spine and blind-stamped vignette to the front board. Ink name inscription to the front end-paper with two slight smudge marks to the title page. Another ink name in black rather than blue above this inscription. 'P.3' written in small ink characters to other side of the front endpaper. Some splitting to the front inner hinge - though front board remains firmly attached. Head and tail of spine a little bumped/rubbed and several corners are a little turned in. Some leaf corners have been turned. A very good, clean tight copy.
