Troy: N. Tuttle, 1844. 12mo (19cm). Brown cloth, blindstamped, titled in gilt on spine; plain endpapers; [i]-xii [13]-315pp. Spine title reads "Moral Law of Nations and American Polity." Tight and unfaded, but gently cocked, lightly rubbed, paper lightly browned with occasional spots of foxing: Very Good.

An effort to explain the "elementary" moral "principles which God has made for the government of all nations," to foster "peace, justice and mercy" (v-vi). SABIN 26641.
