Lightner Witmer (18671956) was a psychologist who created clinical psychology when he opened the first clinic at the University of Pennsylvania.
Provenance: On the front wrapper, "Compliments of the author" is written above the title. In cream paper wrappers; bit of a crease throughout pamphlet, light dust-soiling and edgewear to wrappers, minor staining and foxing to rear wrapper, small hole and scrape in rear wrapper. Provenance marks as above; very faint foxing to inside cover and front page, interior otherwise unmarked.
