Boston: Little Brown and Company, 1938 Hard cover, first trade edition (third printing), octavo (measuring 5 3/4 x 9 inches), in tan cloth with green pictorial decoration and titles, lacking dust jacket, 394pp. Condition : Near Fine. No signs of outer wear. A few light spots of foxing to decorative end paper at front only. One half inch closed tear along edge of final (uncut) page. Still bright, tight and clean. This travelogue was one of Author Kenneth Roberts's ( 1885-1957) later works. Earlier in his career, he had written a series of historical novels set around his birthplace of Kennebunk. The seventeen bright, full page color illustrations by N.C. Wyeth enliven the text. . Third Printing. Hard Cover. Near Fine. Illus. by Wyeth, N.C..
