About This Item
Grosset & Dunlap, New York, 1933 Book. Illus. by Bert Salg. Very Good. Hardcover. First Edition. This is Trigger Berg series #4. The book is in red cloth with black lettering on both the front cover and the spine, There is the speckled fish stamp on the front cover, the red Initiashion (sic) To-Night decorated end papers, a frontispiece and three other full page illustrations, and the dark blue top stain which is consistent with the probable first edition of this title. There is little wear and no fading no internal spots or other defects but there is a spot on the back cover where it looks like a stain was removed then recolored (very well done - looks nice). The jacket has tape repairs of a 1.5" tear and small chips, the largest being 1/2" by 1/2". The pretext lists to this title and also lists 11 Jerry Todd, 7 Poppy Ott, 4 Andy Blake, and 3 Tuffy Bean titles. The post text lists 11 Jerry Todd, 8 Poppy Ott, 3 Trigger Berg, and 4 Tuffy Bean titles. The back flap lists Jerry Todd titles. The back panel lists 11 Jerry Todd, 3 Trigger Berg, 8 Poppy Ott, and 4 Tuffy Bean titles. The reverse of the jacket lists the same titles. A bookplate designed by Bert Salg printed with the author's signature is laid in..
