Introduction by John Cardinal Heenan. Binding remains firm. Crinkling to gutters. Pages remain bright and clear with minimal tanning. Previous owner's inscription to front endpaper. Tape marks to endpapers and pastedowns. Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Tanning to spine and edges. Gilt lettering is darkened slightly. Unclipped jacket has light edge wear with minor tears and chipping. Mild rubbing and marking. Tanning to spine and edges. Tape to edges.
