A history of the years 1943-1946 of World War II, based on the diaries of Field-Marshall Lord Alanbrooke, Chief of the Imperial General Staff. Tan cloth binding with gilt on red titles on spine, maps on end papers, red top edge. Very light edge wear to cover, corners straight and titles bright, a little bumping of top spine, interior pages bright, black smudge on bottom corner of page edges. Red jacket with white and black titles is a little edge worn and scrubbed, short tear at top spine, darkened and slightly soiled on white back, $6.95 price not clipped.
