Moscow: the author, 1922 Quarto, wrappers, 32pp. Cover and 3 full-page drawings by Vsevolod Pudovkin (1893-1953) famed film director and actor who also did book illustrations on his early years. Shebuev (1874-1937) was a publisher, journalist, playwright and novelist, known for his satire. He is famous for attacking the Tsar in the events leading to the 1905 revolution. Released in 2000 copies. OCLC finds this in two North American institutions (Getty, Hoover Inst). A fine copy.
