Privately Published, 1938. Hardcover. Near Fine/Fair. Signed by Author(s) Blue cloth boards with mounted illustration on front board. Mild wear to corners and spine ends. Tight binding, no internal markings, minimal wear. Signed by the author on the half-title page. Illustrated with a water color by the author and 34 photographs. Dust jacket is missing several large chips and has an internal tape repair along the front joint. In the Preface, Deverdun writes that his aim is not to provide either a history or a guidebook, but rather to tell readers "something about the many places of outstanding interest in this most beautiful country. The book is divided into three sections, titled Aztecs and Spaniards; Colonial Mexico; and Environs of Mexico City.
