Rinehart and Co., 1948. Hardcover. Fine/Good. Larger, sturdy, book, quality dark gray cloth with very bright gilt lettering on spine, 478 pages with essays by Conrad Aiken, E.M. Forster, Ezra Pound, Delmore Schwartz, Yvor Winters, Karl Shaprio, F.R. Leavis, I.A. Richards, and many nore. DJ beneath mylar, heavy glossy black backtround with a red design at center front and spine with names of contributors, a photo portrait of Eliot at center back. DJ is ripped and chipped at top 1/4" of spine and upper book tip, a small tear on top back and upper book tip, two small wax drops on front left. Near Good DJ/Very Fine book.
