Little, Brown and Co., Atlantic Monthly Press. Boston. 1952. First Edition stated. 266 pages. The binding is firm. The covers have minor bumping, there may be some color loss to covers. The title and author clearly seen in dark green on spine with a small green illustration on front cover. The dust jacket is faded in spots on front with significant faded color loss on spine, but the printing is clear. The back of the dust jacket includes a black and white photo of the author. The interior of the book is in very good condition, it is bright, there is no writing. The frontispiece is a nice color illustration of tundra birds by wildlife artist George Miksch Sutton.
