About This Item
New York: Times Books, 1992. Second printing. Hardcover. Very Good/good +. Signed without inscription by former US President Jimmy Carter on the first blank in black sharpie. Green cloth and gray boards, hardcover with gilt spine lettering. Second printing in unclipped dustjacket. A very good copy with minor shelfwear to the board edges. Clean and tight as if unread. The jacket is not quite as good with minor soiling and some ruffling bends to the panel edges - still good+. 223 pp., indexed. Jimmy Carter, while an unpopular president, gained the respect of a nation through his work with Habitat for Humanity and other humanitarian efforts. He is the longest-lived US President in history.
