About This Item
This rare children's songbook by the well-known folk singer, political activist and songwriter, Malvina Reynolds, is signed by the author on the illustrated FFEP. There are 14 songs with piano arrangements by Claire Shallot. Each page is illustrated, most of which have been carefully and skillfully 'colored in' by a previous owner. The coloring does not detract from the text or music and adds a somewhat personal, whimsical quality to the book. The stapled binding is tight and very much in tact. Only mild soiling to cover and minor bumps to edges. No tears to pages or cover. Price blacked out on rear cover with black permanent marker. Malvina Reynolds signed songbooks normally sell for between $125 - $200.
All proceeds benefit The friends of the San Anselmo Library. No expedited shipping outside of the United States.
