London: Heinemann. Very Good in Very Good dust jacket. 1954. Uniform Edition. Hardcover. The somewhat uncommon uniform edition collecting 21 of Graham Greene short stories. Originally publsihed in 1947 under the title Nineteen Stories. This edition sees two of the original stories withdrawn and four new stories added, published here for the first time. VG book, some staining to the boards and foxing to the edges, but generally clean internally. VG unclipped jacket showing some foxing on inside, chip at the top of the spine. Now with clear archival cover. .
Synopsis
Graham Greene (1904–1991) worked as a journalist and critic, and was later employed by the foreign office. His many books include The Third Man , The Comedians and Travels with My Aunt . He is the subject of an acclaimed three-volume biography by Norman Sherry.
