A 20,000 mile journey on the yacht 'Whisper' undertaken by Hal and Margaret Roth, from San Diego south around Cape Horn and then north to the United States--a journey frought with adventure, danger, storms, a wreck just before reaching the Horn from which they were rescued by a Chilean navy patrol boat--good reading for the arm chair voyager, the nautical buff, and the lover of adventure. Cream half cloth with gilt titles, red coth over boards, very clean and unmarked; a touch of wear to lower corners and lower front cover edge. Tight, solid and square binding. Upper edge of text block foxed. Pages very clean and completely free of any marks or creases.
