Author of "Race, Class and Party: A History of Negro Suffrage and White Politics in the South (1932). Worked at the LOC 1933-1935, being responsible for the Taft Papers. 1935 to 1960 worked at the National Archives. *Anna Dorinda Blaksley Bliss (1851-1935) being a member of New Yorks "400", and was a noted philanthropist.
