London: Williams and Norgate, 1871. 1st. Wraps. Plain green paper wraps, 8vo., 35 pp. First published in the Pall Mall Gazette. Author (Thomas Dunbar Ingram, 1826-1901) was Counsel for Ameer Khan and Hashmadad Khan, Indian merchants who were arrested without warrants by English authorities in 1869 and held without charges. Small library stamp from Malta on two pages, minor foxing. Book condition VG.
