Troy, NY: H B Nims, 1886, 1886 Maroon Cloth, Gilt Titles. VG-. True First. 16mo - over 5?" - 6?" tall. A Scarce bit of NE and other assorted Poetry with a theme of Mountains. One mentions Monadnock and the Peterboro Hills, many are also Nautical in theme. Many of your favorite 18th & 19th century poets are represented in this quaint book. This example adorns a bookplate from the Osceola Library in Greeley's Summer Boarding House, Waterville, N.H. (Book No. 600 presented by one 'James M. Buckley' and signed by him again on the front blank. A nice White Mountains association bookplate.
