About This Item
Dusseldorf, 1963. unbound. 1 page, 11 x 8.25 inches, Dusseldorf, March 29, 1963, to Acclaimed American Medical historian Samuel Radbill, in part: "...Unfortunately I do not know exactly the significance of the mirror with the serpent, and I believe that this symbolism was only introduced in the Renaissance as the mirror signifies sapientia. This is seen in many dissertations of this time. I am sure that your lecture to the Pediatric History Club was a full success. Would you be so kind as to send me a reprint of this interesting paper on Pediatrics in the Bible." Natural folds; slight discoloration along the top edge. Very good(+) condition.<br/> <br/> German doctor who compiled the data for Operation Himmler, a 1939 False Flag project planned by Nazi Germany to create the illusion of Polish Atrocities against the German Minority in Poland. This book, written by Schadewaldt in English and published by the Nazi Foreign Office, Berlin, 1940, under the direction of Ribbentrop, was an attempt to justify to a naive world the German invasion of Poland, but instead became a major contributing factor to the cause of World War 11. Winston Churchill called this book "One of the most controversial of the 20th Century."<br/> <br/>
