Blue cloth-covered boards, silver titles on spine. Bottom front corner lightly bumped. Umber endpapers. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Dust jacket has some shelf wear, light chipping to top edge, price unclipped. 8vo. Comprehensive examination of the U-boat section of the German Navy, which came so very close to bringing Britain to its knees during the Battle of the Atlantic. Also looks at the development of the Type-XXI- and electro-U-boats which, had they been part of a more organised effort, could have changed the pattern of the second half of the war.
