About This Item
Caldwell, ID: Caxton Printers, 1936. Hardcover. Very Good in Very Good DJ. 2nd printing 1936, very good + brown hardcover with gilt letter and illustrations to cover and spine that show a bit of dulling, along with an ink stamp at top of front pastedown and faint stain at top of hinge of first few pages, in very good price-clipped dust jacket that shows light exposure toning along spine, light bit of soil and edgewear that includes closed tears. 282 pages with illustrations and endpaper maps. Still an attractive copy of this work that combines history and autobiographical fiction that shares a "..chapter out of the life of John R. Barrows....the story of the pioneer settlement of the Judith Gap country, and of a young man's education on the frontier.
