Orange cloth boards with black titles, 185x130mm approx.311 nos. pp + 8 of publisher's adverts. Blandings Castle novel in which Emsworth is faced with the appalling prospect of losing his prize pig, the Empress of Blandings. Good/Good (Book- A little shelf wear to extremities of boards and some finger soiling. Offset browning to end papers which are also a little tanned and the first and last few pages and edges of the book block have light to moderate foxing. Ink gift insc. to front free end paper dated Xmas 1940. Dust Jacket Rubbed and with some loss to paper at extremities- max 7 mm around head of spine. Red title to spine a little faded. Price label to spine 4/- Incl War Extra Costs. Front flap fold advert for Week-End Wodehouse rear flap - The Code of the Woosters.
