About This Item

Chatto & Windus, London, 1913. Book. Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. The first edition with these Henderson illustrations. Small 4to. 271pp. Green cloth, lettered in gold at the spine and with a gilt-stamped decoration to the upper board. Top edge lightly spotted, fore- and bottom edge untrimmed. Free endpapers lightly spotted with some notable spotting to the first five or six leaves, and then a little more throughout, mostly confined to the margins. A good bright copy in toned and lightly rubbed dust wrapper, with a little loss from the spine panel ends and corner tips, a short tear to one natural fold and with a small area of internal taped reinforcement. Uncommon, and more so in the dust wrapper..
