The Letters home of GI Morris Redmann, who signed up for the US Army in 1943 at the age of 18. His letters home are a daily account of the rigors of training and of life in battle during Europe's harshest winter in fifty years. He was a prolific and brilliant letter writer, his intelligence and integrity shine on every page. Sadly he died in battle in January 1945.
