Chatto & Windus, 1963. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Good/Poor. The dustjacket is worn and much torn. The front flap is detached (included)from the body of the dj. There are open and closed tears to all edges. There is shelving and handling marking. The back cover has marks in pencil. The spine of the dj is brittle and fragile. The green cloth cover is in good condition. There is some handling wear and discolouration to the head and foot of the spine. The cover has also has some storage wear. Inside the condition is very good throughout. fk. Our orders are shipped using tracked courier delivery services.
Synopsis
Iris Murdoch was born in Dublin in 1919 of Anglo-Irish parents. She is the author of 26 novels and several works of philosophy. Among her many honours and awards are the CBE, the DBE, the James Tait Black Memorial Prize, the Whitbread Literary Award and the Booker Prize. She died in 1999.
