Denver: Duhem Brothers, New Art Gallery, 1875. CDV. Carte de visite. Albumen [10 cm x 6 cm] photograph on the original light yellow mount [10.5 x 6.5 cm] Duhem Bros backstamp. Image is faded. Staged portrait of two Native Americans (one seated - one standing) in hats and jackets. Possible Ute as the other Duhem Brothers images we locate are almost entirely Ute (those not identified as Ute are identified as 'Native Americans'). Duhem Bros. were a partnership of Constant and Victor H. Duhem in Denver, Colorado. The studio had opened by 1867 and operated through 1879.
