First Edition, c. 1942, same year on title page; 1st printing- no note of further ones. 342 pages, 8 x 5.5"". Green cloth binding tight, square & clean, 1 sm. & light corner bump. L- shaped fabric tear at top of spine (1/2"" x 1/2"")- no missing fabric. Sun discolor to spine- all gold lettering totally legible. Endpapers & text show only lightest toning- tight, clean & UNmarked. NO hinge splits, owner names, musty smell, etc.; NOT ex library. Overall well preserved copy- still displays well, esp.bright covers.
