Washington DC: National Committee to Win the Peace, 1947. Two small pencil marks; rubberstamp on rear. Four-page leaflet printed on a single bifolium, approx. 8-1/2 X 11 inches. Appeal for post-war negotiations in the newly nuclear world, with portraits on the front panel of co-chairs Col. Evans Carlson and artist/activist Paul Robeson. The National Committee to Win the Peace was successor organization to the American Peace Mobilization. The rubber stamp on the rear is that a California affiliate, Mobilization for Democracy.
