Heavily illustrated throughout with intricate copperplate engravings and a large fold-out. Illustrations mostly comprised of people in cultural scenes with some also depicting nature. A beautiful and interesting work of early exploration of mankind.

Leather spine with cloth hardcovers. Heavy wear to edges of covers and worn spine but binding overall intact. Some spotting/foxing here and there.
