Frontis illustrated with a beautiful Colour Plate of Humming Birds, protected by tissue guard. Blue cloth cover with Gilt Sun & Moon Design above a Eagle & Fish on Red grounds. Similar Stellar Design on spine. Brown Endpapers. All page edges Gilt. 564 Pages, 1.2 Kilos, 9" Tall. Edge wear to cover and a closed tear, 3" long, on left side of spine. Very small hole in cloth at front (see photo). Hinges cracked and reinforced with hinge tape. Previous owner's name lightly penciled on ffep and "1891" penciled at bottom of title page, no other inscriptions. Pages and plates in good, clean condition.
