Minneapolis: The H. W. Wilson Company, 1909. Ex-Library; WYSIWYG pricing--no added shipping charge for standard shipping within USA. Full red cloth, gilt titles on front board & spine, [ix], 224 pp. Some library markings including "Withdrawn" sticker. Spine ends frayed, spine and parts of boards sunned. Prints edited versions of four addresses by founding University of Minnesota President Folwell, with newly interpolated comments by Folwell. The addresses are his Inaugural Address of 1869; an 1875 address to the National Education Association on The Minnesota Plan for public education; an 1875 address to the National Education Association on The Secularization of Education; and an 1884 commencement address on The Civic Education, as printed in the Minneapolis Tribune, May 28, 1884. We ship books upon receipt of payment by check or money order, or you can place credit card orders through Biblio. We can accept foreign checks from many countries, and will quote a price in your local currency upon request. Customers located in Minnesota will be charged 6.875% state sales tax, plus city or county sales tax where applicable. SHIPPING IN UNITED STATES: Books are priced postpaid, so there are no additional shipping charges for standard shipping. We will ship via Priority Mail for $12.00 per order (Save on multiple-book orders!). This may be reduced if actual postage is less than for a medium flat-rate box. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: International shipping rates are complex (cost depends upon weight and destination), so please feel free to email us for a quote before you order. Automatically quoted rates assume a shipping weight of 3 lbs. Extra shipping charges will apply for books with shipping weight over 3 lbs. You must approve the charges before the order will be shipped. Shipping charges will be reduced if shipping weight is under 3 lbs.
